SUSTAINABLE FISHING: PRESERVING RESOURCES FOR FUTURE GENERATIONS
Offering our feline friends delicious food with integrity, both through sustainably sourcing the finest raw materials and through our manufacturing process, is a priority for the SHEBA® Brand. The SHEBA® Brand believes that truly gorgeous food
comes not just from expert preparation but from select ingredients that are sourced with care. To support us in our sustainable development aims, the SHEBA® Brand has partnered with the Monterey Bay Aquarium Seafood Watch® program. Seafood Watch
works with some of the largest seafood suppliers in the U.S. to promote more environmentally sustainable fisheries and aquaculture operations. The SHEBA® Brand partners with Seafood Watch so you can be confident that all the seafood in our recipes
is fished or farmed in ways that support a healthy ocean, now and for future generations.
SUSTAINABLE FISH ON THE SHEBA® MENU
The SHEBA® Brand is proud to announce that the fish ingredients in all of our delicious fish products follow the recommendations of the Seafood Watch program and are rated either Best Choice or Good Alternative. This means exquisite cat food that you, and even your most discerning cat companion, can feel good about.
Seafood is an important part of the diet of many pets and people worldwide. At Mars, we’re committed to researching and implementing more sustainable practices for sourcing this valuable resource so that we can continue to offer our products that contain fish in a way that is healthy for people, pets and the environment.
